Omakase at The X Pot Chicago

Looking for an exquisite dining experience in Chicago? The X Pot Chicago is THE place!

I remember when my husband and I visited Vegas couple years back, we couldn't get a reservation at The X Pot in Vegas... So I was very excited when The X Pot Chicago opened!



I had the pleasure of trying out their new 10-course Omakase menu and it was simply beyond amazing!

The X Pot10-course Omakase includes:

- Ochazuke (Scallops, Shrimp, & Mushroom)

- Zuke Tuna (Bluefin Tuna, Fresh Wasabi, Lime)

- Taro Caviar (Bluefin Tuna, Marinated Pepper)

- Sound of the Sea (Otoro, oyster, Uni, Lobster)

- Wagyu Tongue Grill (A5 Miyazaki Beef Tongue)

- Wagyu Foie Gras (A5 Miyazaki Ribeye, Foie Gras)

- Wagyu Jumbo Grill (A5 Miyazaki Ribeye)

- Wagyu Wasabi (A5 Miyazaki Striploin)

- Wagyu Soba (A5 Miyazaki Ribeye, Uni)

- Wagyu Handroll (A5 Miyazaki Chuckroll, Uni, Caviar)

- Dessert (X-Sweet)


Of course I enjoyed them all, but if I have to choose a few, my favorites would be Wagyu Jumbo Grill and Sound of the Sea:



Although those beef pieces were big, once they went into my mouth- omg! They literally melted! And of course, it's the A5 Miyazaki flown in daily from Japan.

It was amazing how I was able to watch what the chef was making right in front of me, having small talks in between. I had so much Uni and Caviar..I just can't!



Would I ever go back? YESSSSS! The X Pot Chicago has got to be the best Omakase in Chicago!
